Police Searching For Chelsea Robbery Suspect

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Police have released surveillance video of a man they say was involved in a home invasion robbery in Chelsea on Friday.

According to police, the suspect followed a 61-year-old man into his home on West 28th Street around 4:30 a.m., and then forced his way into the building and then into the victim's apartment.

The suspect punched the man in the face before taking off with an unknown amount of cash, according to police.

The suspect was last seen wearing a dark hooded jacket, red hat, blue pants and dark boots.
