B&C Morning Show: Jets Trim The Fat, Cano’s Uncertain Future, Knicks Begin Their Push
Those attention-seeking Jets made some predictable roster moves, dumping Bart Scott, Calvin Pace, Eric Smith among others — but Tim Tebow still remains with the Green & White, and Boomer is understandably having a tough time understanding why.
The Yankees reportedly have reached out to Robinson Cano about a contract extension, but it appears the All-Star second baseman will be shopping himself to the highest bidder, under the guidance of his ‘super agent’ Scott Boras. Craig predicts that this will end badly, perhaps with the Bombers flailing and seeking a trade for Cano prior to the trade deadline.
As for Alex Rodriguez, his name has shown up again on a ledger that apparently belongs to Anthony Bosch, who tends to keep very good records.
Finally, the Knicks rounded out this very well-rounded morning show open, as they get back at it following the All-Star Break tonight in Indiana, against the Pacers. Boomer & Craig agree that it is important for Mike Woodson’s bunch to come out tonight and set a tone for the remainder of the season…
