Police: Robbery Suspect Tied Up Queens Woman, Stole Cash & Jewelry
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are looking for a robbery suspect who they say tied up a Queens woman before taking off with her jewelry and cash.
It happened around 6:30 p.m. last Thursday in Elmhurst. Police said the suspect got into the woman's apartment, grabbed her, threw her to the floor and tied her up. He then stole clothing, jewelry and cash, police said.
The suspect was seen on surveillance video. Police describe him as a dark-skinned Hispanic man, about 5-foot-9 and 150 pounds.
