NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Nearly 4 months after the storm, many businesses are struggling to make it. All week we’ve featured local restaurants affected by Superstorm Sandy.

Today’s guest is Marilyn Schlossbach, owner of Langosta Lounge on the boardwalk in Asbury Park, N.J.

She says the Aloha Chocolate Mousse Recipe she discovered while in Hawaii blew her flip flops off!

Aloha chocolate mousse:


6 avocados

1 ¾ cup agave

1 ½ cup cocoa

½ cup palm or coconut oil

1/4 tablespoon cinnamon

½ teaspoon nutmeg

2 tablespoon vanilla


Scoop out avocados.

Put all ingredients in the food processor and blend until very smooth.
