B&C Morning Show: Knicks GM Glen Grunwald Calls In
A day after signing Kenyon Martin to a 10-day contract, Knicks GM Glen Grunwald joined Boomer and Craig to talk about inking the 35-year-old power-forward, who will likely suit up for the Knicks Sunday when they take on the Sixers.
Grunwald also shared the reasons behind Iman Shumpert not being moved before the trade deadline and what the guard's future with the Knicks looks like. He has no complaints about what Amar'e Stoudmire has been bringing to the table and was very carefully not to place specific blame when discussing what ails the Knicks, calling the struggles 'collective.'
With all that said, Grunwald seemed confident this current group can compete for a title and fended off Craig's claims that they are soft. I guess time will tell, but overall it was nice to actually hear Mr. Grunwald actually speak...
