PATCHOGUE, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) – Suffolk County police are investigating an early morning fatal crash in Patchogue.
According to police, Colin Garrett, 22, was killed after he lost control of his car, hit a fence and flipped over.
The crash happened around 1:30 Sunday morning on the north service road of Sunrise Highway.
Garrett’s two passengers, identified by police as Nicole Wilk, 20, and Colleen Malia, 22, were hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
Garrett’s 2000 Chevrolet Malibu was impounded for safety checks as police continue their investigation.
