B&C Morning Show: Heat Exploit Knicks' Flaws; Stoudemire Rides The Pine
The Knicks built a 14-point lead over the Heat at the end of first half on Sunday at the Garden, only to get outscored 54-34 in the second on their way to a 99-93 setback.
Boomer & Craig opened up today's radio program talking about the Knicks' loss - their first to the Heat this season - and what led to their demise, beginning with J.R. Smith's 5-18 shooting performance and Mike Woodson's decision to bench Amar'e Stoudemire for the final 7:56 of the 4th quarter.
Later in the evening, the Rangers took the ice at the Garden and managed a 3-2 shootout win over the Buffalo Sabres, which had Boomer grinning from ear to ear. Speaking of large grins, despite the Knicks' loss, Craig still had a smile on his face after New Rochelle beat Mt. Vernon on an improbable buzzer-beater courtesy of Khalil Edney to win the NY Section I Class AA Championship yesterday.
And that's how ya' kick off a Monday edition of the Boomer & Carton Morning Extravaganza....
