Now, she’s put all of her quirky humor into a memoir, ‘Let’s Pretend This Never Happened.’

She joined us on The Couch on Wednesday to share the laughs and talk about the new book.

“Everything in [the book], they were basically the most mortifying moments of my life,” she said. “All of those moments where at the time you want to be like ‘let’s pretend this never happened’ and then later you realize all of those moments made you who you are, and those are the moments that shaped you.”

Lawson has over 300,000 followers on Twitter (“I think people are attracted to a trainwreck,” she said) who share in her daily musings and follow her along on some of her crazy adventures – like mailing herself a cobra (check out the segment for details on that one).

“I wanted to explore those things,” Lawson said. “But what I really wanted to to do was embrace them, and embrace the weirdness and bizarreness of life, and celebrate it.”
