Corrections Officer Faces Criminal Mischief Charges

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A New York City corrections officer stood charged with criminal mischief this weekend, after being arrested in Queens.

Corrections Officer Javier Colon, 28, was arrested at 5:46 p.m. Friday in the 112th Precinct, which includes the Forest Hills and Rego Park sections of Queens.

He was charged with criminal mischief, police said.

Police did not indicate what specifically Colon was accused of doing.
