NEW YORK (WLNY) – Do you know anyone who doesn’t want or need more energy?

If you’re feeling tired and stressed out – you’re not alone.

Board-certified internist and researcher Dr. Jacob Teitelbaum says our country is facing an epidemic of exhaustion. Dr. Teitelbaum is known for developing effective treatment for chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia — and now he’s sharing his theories to help us all feel more rested and revitalized.

“My interest began over 35 years ago when I was in medical school and came down with a ‘killer flu” that turned out to be Chronic Fatigue Syndrome,” Dr. Teitelbaum said. “It derailed my life for a whole year and actually left me homeless. In the process of regaining my energy, and by working with thousands of patients, I learned the formula for optimizing vitality.”

He calls the protocol SHINE.

“SHINE works for anyone who needs more energy,” Dr. Teitelbaum said. “It focuses on five areas: Sleep, Hormones, Immunity, Nutrition, and Exercise.”
