Just up the block, Steven Dominguez said he could not believe what he saw falling from the sky.

"I didn't want to believe it, but once it got close, it was a lady and she had a baby with her, and the baby was on the floor crying," he said.

Helena Dominguez said she rushed to help the baby.

"I wanted to help the baby, you know, because he was on the floor crying," she said.

A neighbor said she heard arguing before the woman jumped.
