Carmelo Anthony made his return to Denver last night and brought along his Knicks teammates – after that things got a little complicated.
Carmelo played for the Nuggets for over seven years, so returning to his old stomping grounds was sure to be emotional — and emotional it was. Melo was booed mercilessly all night long, that is until he left the game early in the third quarter and is now returning to New York to have his ailing right knee drained. You couple that news with Tyson Chandler’s early exit (status uncertain) and things are looking bleak for Mike ‘Wild Thing’ Woodson’s Knickerbockers, who take on the Blazer tonight in Portland.
