B&C Morning Show: Everything Sucks, But At Least It's Friday
The Knicks lost their third game in a row last night, falling to the Blazers in Portland 105-90. The Rangers got out-skated north of the border, losing 3-1 to the Winnipeg Jets. So with that said, this Friday edition of the Boomer & Carton Morning Extravaganza opened on a bit of a sour note.
As you know by now, the Boom tends to wear his Rangers' emotions on his sleeve, so he was predictably in a foul mood, while his radio partner always seems to have his trousers in a bunch for some reason or another, a combination that is entertaining if nothing else.
The guys were also sure to mention the news surrounding 'Captain America' himself, David Wright, after he was scratched from yesterday's WBC game against the Dominican Republic with sore ribs, and will now meet with Mets team doctors to be evaluated -- oh boy. Then there are the Jets, who are reportedly looking to bring in Kevin Kolb to compete for their starting quarterback job.
Hey look at the bright side, it is Friday - so that's pretty cool. And for those of you who root for the Nets - who play in Brooklyn these days - Craig declared that they are the local franchise that is currently closest to winning a championship. Imagine that...
