B&C Morning Show: Szczerbiak Brings Us To Wally’s World, Talks NCAA Tourney

When it comes the sport of basketball, few have it covered like Wally Szczerbiak.  In addition to being a cog on MSG’s Knicks pre- and postgame shows, Wally has also been part of the CBS Sports Network, covering college basketball since retiring from the NBA back in 2009 due to knee problems.

Well this morning Szczerbiak found some time in his busy schedule to pay Boomer and Craig a visit in the Allstate Studio to talk some basketball with the Dynamic Radio Duo.

As far as the Knicks, Wally believes they need to find their ‘inner stroke’ (here’s lookin’ at you Jason Kidd and Ray Felton), likes what he’s seen thus far from Kenyon Martin and thinks (when healthy) that they match up pretty well with the Heat.

Moving right along to the NCAA Tournament, as far as sleepers, Szczerbiak mentioned Minnesota, Iowa St. and VCU. He has Miami making it to the Final Four and losing to Gonzaga in the Final — showing he has not lost touch with his mid-major roots…
