B&C Morning Show: Updating Like A Recco
The Knicks got a win last night in Utah, and afterward Kurt Thomas (pictured) got himself a game ball. That kind of sums up the Knicks' 1-4 road trip, but a win is a win, so that is where Jerry Recco began his first update of the morning.
The Knickerbockers were once again without Carmelo Anthony and Tyson Chandler, but as far as why they missed the game, well, that's a little complicated. Melo is blaming his bum knee on a hamstring injury, but he cleared himself to play -- just not in Utah. Chandler, who has been out after banging his knee Wednesday night against the Nuggets, is scheduled to have an MRI on his neck. Complicated indeed.
There was nothing complicated about the Nets, as they beat the Pistons in blowout fashion, 119-82, just as Craig predicted they would. The Heat kept their winning ways intact after grinding out a 105-103 win over the Celtics in Boston.
