Man Wanted For Robbing Businesses, Pistol-Whipping Employees In Queens

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Tuesday were looking for a man who robbed two Queens businesses and pistol-whipped their employees.

The suspect robbed a bodega at 114-01 Colfax St., in Cambria Heights at 1:40 p.m. on March 9, and a deli at 205-19 Hollis Ave., in Hollis, at 7:45 p.m. two days later.

In both instances, the robber hit an employee in the head with his gun and demanded money. He made off with an undetermined sum of money in both robberies, police said.

The suspect is described as being in his 20s and 5-foot-8. Police have released a surveillance photo.
