GREENWICH, Conn. (CBSNewYork) - It’s not clear if a string break-ins in Greenwich are a connected, but there appears to be a pattern developing there.

From March 14 the March 17, a duplex and a home were burglarized. Thousands of dollars worth of jewelry and electronics were taken.

Also during that time, in Old Greenwich, a prowler tried to force open a rear door but the alarm sounded.

Somebody also lifted a GPS unit from an unlocked car in Old Greenwich.

Plus, going back to the first week in March, there was a burglary in Cos Cob and an attempt on Butternut Hollow Road, again the alarm scared off the intruder.

Police have asked residents to be their eyes and ears and to report any suspicious activity.
