With madness in the air, this Friday edition of the Boomer & Carton Morning Extravaganza began with Craig allowing Boomer to vent about his beloved Blueshirts, as the Rangers managed to get (and keep) the Blonde Bomber’s blood boiling with their 3-1 loss to Panthers at MSG.
With that off his chest and the NCAA Tournament getting under way Thursday afternoon (the ‘First Four’ does not count), the topic of conversation seamlessly shifted to the hardwood, as 14th-seeded Harvard was garnering all sorts of attention with their upset win over New Mexico, a No. 3 seed, and one of Boomer’s Final Four selections (tough break, Booms).
Conversely, Boomer-hater ‘the’ Eddie Scozzare actually picked Harvard as his upset pick Thursday — and was mocked by Boomer in the process.
So we had all that, the Knicks prepare to take on the Raptors tonight at MSG, David Wright officially bestowed the honor of being Mets’ team captain and Derek Jeter has his sights set on Opening Day…
