Suspect Sought In Apparent Queens Hit-And-Run

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Police are looking for the driver of a car who according to a witness struck a man in Queens Monday night.

The witness said the victim was in the crosswalk at the intersection of 81st Street and 35th Avenue in Jackson Heights around 8 p.m. when he was struck by a Honda Odyssey, 1010 WINS’ John Montone reported.

Police said a passenger got out of the car and ran before the driver took off, Montone reported.

Suspect Sought In Apparent Queens Hit-And-Run

The victim is listed in critical condition.

The investigation is ongoing.
