Tony’s Table With Stephanie: Shrimp Fra Diavolo

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Tony Tantillo and his daughter Stephanie are suggesting a simple shrimp dish for dinner.

Shrimp Fra Diavolo

Ingredients

  • 8 Jumbo Shrimp
  • 6 oz. Grape Tomatoes
  • 8 oz. Marinara Sauce
  • 2 oz. Finely Chopped Mint
  • 3 Garlic Cloves
  • 3 oz. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 3 Hot Cherry Peppers
  • 2 oz. Fresh Parsley

Preparation:

Sauté shrimp until pink, 2 minutes on medium heat with olive oil. Remove shrimp from pan, add tomato sauce, garlic and grape tomatoes. Let simmer, 4 to 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Butterfly shrimp, add to pan and cook for 1 minute. Add parsley and mint and simmer for another minute and serve.
