HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, N.J. (CBSNewYork) — Police in Hasbrouck Heights, N.J., were searching Saturday for a hit-and-run driver who struck and killed a man on busy Williams Avenue.
The unidentified man was found dead early Saturday in the middle of the road in Hasbrouck Heights, right on the boundary with Lodi.
Police believe the driver was trying to get to Route 17 upon hitting the man, who was crossing the street.
