NYPD: Suspect Wanted For Attempted Robbery, Sex Abuse
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are looking for a suspect wanted for an attempted robbery and sex abuse in Manhattan.
Around 2 a.m. Saturday, a man approached a woman who was out walking her dog on East 27 Street, pulled out a gun and demanded she hand over money and her cell phone, police said.
When the woman said she didn't have anything, police said he sexually abused her and then fled.
Police describe the suspect as a black man, about six feet tall, heavy-set with a bald head. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt with a bubble vest.
