Police: Brooklyn Suspect Lured Women To Isolated Areas And Raped Them

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are asking for the public's help in identifying and apprehending a rape suspect.

Authorities said the individual is responsible for three attacks, which took place in Brooklyn.

The NYPD said that in each incident, the suspect engaged his victims in a conversation and then lured them to an isolated location, where he raped them.

The first incident happened at 9 p.m. in the vicinity of Albany Avenue and Fenimore Street on April 4. The victim, a 25-year-old woman, was lured to a parking lot and raped, police said.

The second incident happened on April 11 at around 8 a.m. Police said a 19-year-old woman was approached by the suspect in the vicinity of Remsen Avenue and Farragut Road. That victim was lured to the driveway of a private home and raped, police said.

Police said the third victim was just 15 years old and approached in a building in the vicinity of Midwood Street and Schenectady Avenue. Authorities said the victim was lured to the 6th floor on April 11 at around 8:15 p.m. and then raped.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5-foot-9, between 160 and 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a green camouflaged jacket, pants, boots and baseball cap (possibly with a NY Knick or Yankees logo), police said.
