B&C Morning Show: Opening Up A Wednesday The Right Way
After devoting the majority of Tuesday's show to the horrific tragedy in Boston, Boomer and Craig did their best to return the morning show to some sense of normalcy, and they used the Knicks - who will host the Hawks tonight in their regular season finale - to help accomplish the task at hand.
Boomer and Craig discussed what kind of lineup they'd like to see Mike Woodson put on the floor for a game that really means nothing to the Knicks themselves, as they have the No. 2 seed in the East all locked up, but does have bearing on Nets' first-round opponent.
Unfortunately for Boomer "The Birthday Boy" (Uncle Booms turns 52 today), the Rangers took one on the chin in Philly and now find themselves in eighth place, trailing the Islanders by three games in the Eastern Conference playoff picture.
The Yanks improved to 7-5 after a 4-2 win over the D-Backs in the Bronx, while the Mets managed to drop both games of a double header to the Rockies out in Colorado.
Finally some sad news, as former New York Giants kicker and broadcasting legend Pat Summerall passes away at the age of 82...
