After some tremendous juggling, stellar producer Al Dukes managed to get Carmelo Anthony and Brook Lopez on at the same time to talk about the upcoming NBA playoffs.
Bernard King hung around to congratulate Carmelo on winning the scoring title, and wished him luck against the Celtics.
Carmelo addressed the need for the role players to step up this postseason, and how excited he is to get things underway tomorrow. Anthony said he envisioned having the Garden packed with Knicks fans when he first came to New York.
Brook Lopez is confident based on how the Nets have played over the past few weeks, and said that the team should be well-rested and healthy going into their series against the Bulls. The Nets will have home court advantage in their inaugural season in Brooklyn. Brook and the Nets will open up Saturday night in Brooklyn.
