2 Correctional Officers Arrested In Separate Cases

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Two New York City correctional officers were arrested in separate incidents this weekend.

In the first incident, Correction Officer Sandra Brewster, 43, was arrested at 6 p.m. Saturday in the 63rd Police Precinct in eastern Brooklyn.

She was ticketed for driving while talking on a cell phone, but was also charged with obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct, police said. No further details were released.

In the second incident, police arrested Correction Officer Michael Crowe, 48, in the Midtown South precinct at 10:14 p.m. Saturday.

He was charged with burglary, criminal possession of stolen property, and petit larceny, police said.

Police did not elaborate on the charges.
