Lynda Carter's New Show Comes To NYC Friday

NEW YORK (WLNY) -- TV's iconic Wonder Woman, Lynda Carter, returns to New York City with her brand new show on Friday.

But first, the lovely lady returned to The Couch to talk about her latest endeavor.

"From the Heart" will take place at the Allen Room, located at 60 Street and Broadway in the Time Warner Center.

Lynda Carter is best known for her television role on "Wonder Woman", but she started her career singing at the age of 14 in her native Arizona.

During her time filming "Wonder Woman" she also hosted her own Variety Specials on CBS. After raising her family in Washington, DC, Lynda returned to singing and performing seven years ago in the West End London production of "Chicago" as Matron Mama Morton.

She put her first act together after that and every year since has been touring the country in clubs, concerts and with symphony orchestras. She has also recorded two albums, "At Last" (which debuted at #6 on the Billboard charts) and "Crazy Little Things".

Her show features her unique (and quite different) take on songs from Adele to Hank Williams, Jr. to Bruce Springsteen to Motown with several original tunes mixed in as well.
