Police: Woman Sexually Abused, Robbed After Asking Suspects For Directions In The Bowery

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are asking for the public's help in finding two men who allegedly robbed and sexually abused a 38-year-old woman in the Bowery earlier this month.

Police said the victim was attacked after asking the suspects for directions near Chrystie and Grand streets around 9:30 p.m. last Monday.

One of the suspects grabbed the victim from behind and pinned her against the wall while the other suspect punched her in the ribs and thigh before sexually abusing and robbing the victim, police said.

Police have released a sketch of the suspect accused of sexually abusing the woman.
