Man Shot Dead In Wakefield Section Of The Bronx
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A man was shot and killed early Sunday on the northern edge of the Bronx.
Police were called just after midnight Sunday morning to 4769 White Plains Rd., in the Wakefield section of the Bronx, and found a 34-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the head.
The man, identified as Kevin Smith of the Bronx, was taken to Jacobi Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
There had been no arrests as of Sunday afternoon, and the investigation continued, police said.
No further details about the deadly shooting were available Sunday afternoon.
