Back in August 2012, Boomer offered up a memo to the Jets with regards to what he believed they should do with new acquisition Tim Tebow.
In case you missed it, Boomer said the Jets should cut Tebow and be done with the experiment once and for all.
Needless to say, the Booms’ advice was not heeded, the Jets finished the season with a record of 6-10, making plenty of news along the way. They eventually drafted a QB (Geno Smith) in the second round of the 2013 NFL Draft on Friday.
So it only seems fitting that today, a day that the Blonde Bomber was enjoying a scheduled day off, that the Jets have finally come to their senses and released the wonder-boy Tebow.
Luckily, the capable Robert Wuhl (who is a lifelong Jets fan) was filling in admirably for Boomer, so he and Craig shared their take on a move that has been some time in the making…
