Nassau PD: Hicksville Man Arrested For Three Bank Robberies
MINEOLA, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) – Nassau County Police believe they’ve caught the man behind three bank robberies.
The robberies took place in January, February and April.
Even Kerpen of Hicksville faces first and third degree robbery charges.
Kerpen, 34, knocked over the TD Bank in Plainview back in January, another TD Bank in Roslyn Heights in February and the Bank of America in Plainview on Saturday, according to Nassau County Police.
In each case Kerpen gave the teller a note demanding money, police said.
Kerpen is set to be arraigned Tuesday in Hempstead.
