Police: Albany Man Arrested In Groping Of 9-Year-Old Girl In East Village

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- An Albany man has been arrested in connection with last month's groping of a 9-year-old girl in the East Village, police said.

Rene Otero, 52, has been charged with sex abuse and endangering the welfare a child in the April 14 incident.

Otero is accused of walking up behind the girl and grabbing her buttocks, police said.

Police had released surveillance photos and a sketch of the suspect.

Meanwhile, police are continuing to search for a suspect accused of sexually assaulting three young girls in Queens last week.
