B&C Morning Show: Knicks TCB, Harvey Twirls A Gem, Islanders Shock The Penguins

With 3:28 left in the third quarter, the Pacers led the Knicks, 64-62. Then all hell broke loose.

Carmelo and the Knicks used a 36-4 run to win Game 2, 105-79, and will now head to Indiana for Game 3 on Saturday night with some confidence in their back pocket.

Boomer & Craig got things under way this morning by analyzing the Knicks' impressive win, as only they can.  Boomer sees the series going six or seven games and getting very physical and nasty before it's over.  Craig is not happy about the long layoff, but he believes it will benefit the banged-up Knicks in the long run. H allowed just one hit while striking out 12 in his nine innings of work.  For his efforts Harvey got a no decision, but the not-so-Amazin' Mets did manage to win the game, 1-0, in 10 innings.

In addition to all of that goodness, the Islanders continue to garner attention as they knotted up their series with the Penguins, 2-2, after a 6-4 win last night at the Coliseum.  On a side note, Craig's favorite Islander, Matt Martin, is celebrating his 23rd birthday today, and Boomer got him a special gift.

So as is generally the case here on the Boomer & Carton Morning Extravaganza, the guys provided a well-rounded, entertaining open, and it's you -- the listener -- who reaps the rewards...
