Iman Shumpert electrified the MSG crowd last night with a monstrous, put-back dunk in the first half , Carmelo Anthony found his shooting touch and the Knicks (minus J.R. Smith) played very well as a team, which led to a convincing 105-79 win over the Pacers.

Jerry Recco provided a thorough recap of last night’s Knicks triumph, offered a preview of Saturday night’s Game 3 in Indiana and shared some other news and notes from the NBA, including the news that Phil Jackson is not interested in coaching the Nets.  Boomer suggested that the Nets hire Knicks legend Patrick Ewing to man their bench.

Plus, the Islanders even their series with the Penguins with a 6-4, Game 4 win at the Coliseum.  Craig believes that if he learned how to skate as a kid, he could have been an NHL goalie. The Yanks lose, 2-0, in Colorado and Matt Harvey is nearly perfect, but he settles for a no-decision in the Mets’ 1-0 win over the White Sox…
