Jerry got the fun started with details from the Rangers’ huge 4-3 win over the Capitals last night, complete with commentary from Boomer and plenty of post game audio.

Plus, Islanders/Penguins Game 5 tonight in Pittsburgh  the Yankees edge the Rockies 3-2 in Colorado and Suzyn Waldman got the ear of Vernon Wells after his MLB debut at third base.  The Mets lost 6-3 to the White Sox and afterward Terry Collins made it somewhat clear that a manager’s job is not to get into the mindset of a player. Meanwhile, after yielding a leadoff home run, starting pitcher Jeremy Hefner sounded like he was on the verge of tears.

Some NBA news, Heat stomp the Bulls 115-78 in Game 2 (series tied 1-1), Warriors stun the Spurs 100-91 behind Klay Thompson’s coming out party, Amar’e Stoudemire set to return for Game 3, J.R. Smith could see his minutes diminished, and George Karl win the NBA Coach of the Year (Mike Woodson finishes third).

And finally, Santonio Holmes offers an endorsement (of sorts) to Jets teammate Mark Sanchez…
