Manti Te'o's Fake Girlfriend Comes In At No. 69 On Maxim's Hot 100 List

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Unless you've been living under a rock over the past four-or-so months, you know about the hoax involving Manti Te'o and and his girlfriend -- who never actually existed.

Well the former Heisman Trophy candidate is now in the National Football League, but he's still not living down the infamous hoax that swept the nation. Will he ever?

Maxim has released its Hot 100 for 2013, which counts down "the sexiest women of 2013."

Coming in at 69 on the Hot 100, sandwiched between swimsuit models Nina Agdal and Anne Vyalitsyana, is "Manti Te'o's Fake Girlfriend."

On Maxim's website, Te'o's fake girlfriend's biography reads, "After Manti Te'o's fake girlfriend hoax of 2012, we think it might be nice to have an invisible girl of our own to love. Why not? She's got a ton of great qualities, including looking awesome in a bikini."

Te'o's former friend, Ronaiah Tuiasosopo, has admitted to being the mastermind behind the hoax.

The linebacker was selected in the second round -- 38th overall -- by the San Diego Chargers in the 2013 NFL Draft.
