Missing Brooklyn Woman Found Safe In Washington, D.C.

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A missing 27-year-old Brooklyn woman has been found safe in Washington, D.C.

Police said Sabrina Malone was found Thursday, days after she was reported missing by her family.

Malone was last seen leaving her parents' Cobble Hill apartment around 8:30 p.m. Saturday night.

Her mother, Paula Manning, became concerned and instantly contacted authorities after her daughter failed to show up for her shift Sunday morning at Ikea, where Malone has worked for three years.

It is unclear how Malone ended up in Washington, D.C. Details of how she was found were not released.
