Prosecutors: Pizza Delivery Man Also Delivered Cocaine

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Since when does pizza come in kilos?

A Papa John's delivery man is accused of selling cocaine, using his delivery gig as a cover for his sales.

Ramon Rodriguez allegedly made 19 cocaine sales - including a kilo of cocaine for $27,500 - to an undercover officer, police said. Rodriguez, 45, used the tools of his pizza trade to assist in the sales, police said.

According to cops, Rodriguez was wearing his Papa John's uniform when he met the undercover officer outside the restaurant's Sunset Park location Wednesday night. After meeting the officer, Rodriguez went back into the shop and came out carrying a bag, pizza box and a chicken nuggets box, according to authorities.
