2 Firefighters Injured In Passaic Blaze

PASSAIC, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- More than 30 people have been displaced following a fire at a three-story building in New Jersey.

It took firefighters more than three hours to bring the four-alarm fire at a rooming house on Lafayette Avenue under control Thursday night.

Officials said two firefighters were injured. One sustained burns to his upper body and another suffered hand and leg injuries.

The displaced tenants are now staying at the Passaic Senior Center.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
