ALBERTSON, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- A Long Island teacher's aide who worked with students with physical disabilities is accused of having an inappropriate relationship with an 18-year-old male student.

Ivone Oliviera, 34, of Levittown was arrested Thursday night and is charged with endangering the welfare of a disabled person.

Police said the inappropriate relationship began in January.
