B&C Morning Show: Jerry Recco's Tuesday Morning Update
Craigie welcomes back Jerry after having the day off on Monday.
Before Jerry can start his update, Craig starts in on everyone who has been taking days off and the random reasons they have given to take the day off. Jerry finally begins his update when Craig gives some breaking news. Jerry follows with highlights from another Yankee win as Travis Hafner ties the game up at four in the ninth inning and Vernon Wells gives them the lead in the top of the 10th. Mo closes the 6-4 win out with his 17th save on the season.
In other news, the Mets lose again. This time Ike Davis brings his negative play to the defense as he interferes with a base runner in the three run first inning. The Mets lose 4-3 after Jay Bruce breaks the tie with a solo home run off of Shaun Marcum in the sixth inning. The Rangers get ready for Game 3 against the Bruins at home and the Knicks give some postmortem quotes in reflection on their short lived playoff run.
