Anthony Weiner’s Campaign Website Featured Picture Of Pittsburgh

Skyline In Blue Background Was View From Roberto Clemente Bridge

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – The day Anthony Weiner took his campaign for mayor to the streets of New York, folks visiting his website might’ve been a bit confused as to which city he wanted to lead.

His official website, which contains his announcement video, featured an image of a skyline at the top of the page.

The problem is that the skyline was Pittsburgh.

The image depicted a view from Pittsburgh’s Roberto Clemente bridge.

Several hours after being asked about the apparent error, the website had been updated, and the skyline replaced.

After being notified of the error, the website was altered. (credit: anthonyweiner.com)
