Big-Action Flicks, Comedies Hoping To Cash In At The Box Office This Summer

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Memorial Day Weekend is the unofficial kick-off to summer, and that means summer blockbusters will be hitting a theater near you soon.

Daily News film critic Joe Neumaier sat down with CBS 2's Dick Brennan to discuss the big-money high-octane thrillers set to hit the big screen.

Neumaier said "The Hangover III" is a winning bet.

"After Earth" starring Will and Jaden Smith could win big at the box office, Neumaier said.

Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson have teamed up again for "The Internship."

The new Superman movie "Man Of Steel" is an edgy revamp of the classic, Neumaier said.

And Brad Pitt is back in a zombie thriller.
