Four Others Injured In Two-Vehicle Accident

BEDMINSTER, N.J. (AP) — State police say one person was killed and four others were hurt when two vehicles collided on a northern New Jersey highway.

But the cause of Saturday’s crash on Route 78 West in Bedminster remains under investigation.

Authorities say a car and a sport utility vehicle were involved in the accident, which occurred just after 11 a.m. The driver of the car was killed, while four people who were in the SUV suffered minor injuries.

The names of those involved in the crash have not been disclosed.

The crash caused major travel delays in the area for several hours.
