Crews Work To Repair 16-Inch Water Main Break In Melville
MELVILLE, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Crews are on the scene of a water main break in Suffolk County.
The 16-inch water main broke around 8 a.m. Thursday sending water into the front yards of homes along New York Avenue in Melville, CBS 2 reported.
About 100 customers experienced low water pressure or no water, CBS 2 reported.
The South Huntington Water District is checking homes for flooding.
