B&C Morning Show: Woodson Out, George Karl In? Carton Says 'Let's Do It'

After leading the Nuggets to a regular-season record of 57-25 and capturing the NBA Coach of the Year award for his efforts, George Karl was fired yesterday in Denver.

If Craig had his way, he would like to see the Knicks fire their head coach, Mike Woodson, so that they can hire Karl to lead Carmelo and the gang to the promise land, citing "opportunity knocking."  If not the Knicks, Craig says that the Nets should be knocking down Karl's door to coach in Brooklyn.

As for Boomer, he doesn't see the move happening, nor does he agree with his radio partner, but it was here that this Friday edition of the Boomer & Carton Morning Extravaganza began.

The guys also discussed the Spurs' Game 1 triumph over the Heat in Miami, as Boomer is reminded of just how good Tony Parker is. As for the Yanks, they played out in Seattle and got a strong performance from Phil Hughes and a couple of long balls off the bats of Cano and Teixeira.

Finally, Boomer vented about the obstacles he encountered this morning while trying to fill up his Ford Raptor with gas -- it's not easy being the Blonde Bomber...
