Police: Bicyclist Dies After Being Hit By 2 Taxis In Harlem

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) –  A bicyclist has died after being hit by two taxis in Harlem, police said.

It happened around 9:30 p.m. Thursday at East 125th Street and Park Avenue.

A 25-year-old woman was riding her bike south on Park when she was struck by a medallion cab going west on 125th Street, police said.

She was thrown off her bike from the impact and was then hit by another cab heading east, police said.

Both cab drivers stayed on the scene. The woman was taken to Harlem Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Her identity has not yet been released. Police are investigating.
