LINDENHURST, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) — A car slammed into a house in Lindenhurst, Long Island Saturday, leaving a homeowner shocked and terrified.
As WCBS 880’s Sophia Hall reported, the car crashed into a blue-colored house on Johnson Place and Grand Avenue in Lindenhurst.
The owner thought something had exploded in her home.
“Like the oil burner was going to explode or something,” the owner said. “I had no idea there was a car out there.”
The homeowner said she was fortunate that the car did not crash all the way through the house.
“I guess I am lucky,” she said.
