JetBlue Flight Diverted To Newark After Being Struck By Lightning

NEWARK, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- A plane heading from Boston to West Palm Beach, Fla., was struck by lightning late Friday and had to make an emergency landing at Newark Liberty International Airport.

JetBlue said the pilot of the Airbus A320 diverted the plane to be cautious.

The plane landed safely around 11 p.m. Friday. More than 140 passengers were able to board another plane.

No one was hurt.
