B&C Morning Show: Tebow Gets Another Chance
Tim Tebow's time with the Jets was a disaster, plain and simple. Because of that he was let go, a move which was followed by speculation of whether or not the unorthodox QB would ever find another job in the NFL.
Enter Bill Belichick, the Patriots' head coach and the Jets' nemesis. In a somewhat surprising move, it was the Pats who have elected to give Tebow another chance. Let the fun begin.
Boomer and Craig got things started with the latest from the Tebow saga. Boomer was rather reluctant to spend too much time focusing on a third-string quarterback, though he has no problem with the signing . Craig, on the other hand -- the Jets fan -- couldn't hide his happiness with the news that (in his opinion) the Pats got worse with the arrival of "Sexy Jesus."
So predictably, it was there that things got started today. The guys eventually shifted their collective attention to the Mets, as GM Sandy Alderson talked with Mike Francesa yesterday right here on the FAN and had some interesting things to say with regards to his club, specifically "Viva" Ike Davis...
